Launched in July 2006, the SSM e-Info service is the initiative developed when SSM business functions are fully computerized. SSM has upgraded its website in March 2007 to enable posting of more information. Among many other things, interactive features were introduced to aid and enhance users’ experience. SSM has since collaborated with the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) in December 2006 to develop an online document filing system called the e-Lodgement service with the purpose to improve its service delivery to the public.
As the name implies, SSM e-info is a web-based online self-help system that provides search and purchase of company and business information. With this, you can obtain the information easily and immediately as it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you can log on the website anywhere by accessing www.ssm.com.my. Besides, SSM e-info is also an alternative to “over-the-counter” transactions. In fact, it has many more functions that have benefitted the public.
The e-Info Services allows users to search and purchase of company profile (ROC) and business profile (ROB) from SSM in PDF (Portable Document Format) file. All you need is to have an Acrobat Reader in order to download and read the requested information. In addition, online users also can purchase other products such as images (i.e. Form 9,24,44,49), Financial Comparison, Company Charges, Business Termination Letter and Company Watch can via the same method.
